"I'm worried about Alberta"
Every time I heard out of Province investors expressing their concerns about Alberta, it gets me little excited inside.
The one thing smart investors fear the most, is when there’s no one left to buy / invest.
This is what creates market bubbles.
A stock rush up when people scramble to buy.
Basic supply / demand.
When there’s bunch of people wanting to buy with limited supply, a stock shoot up!
Market demand at its finest.
COVID was a huge boom for real estate.
Because a bunch of people were bidding each others up.
Creating a buying frenzy.
As much it’s fun to own those assets when market shoots up, I prefer more steady growth.
It’s more predictable and healthier.
Less likely for a market to crash.
The more I hear investors expressing their worries about Alberta, the more I’m excited.
I’m excited because it means they haven’t been paying attention to Alberta.
They are still letting their bias dictate their decisions.
This means we have more time on our side.
This means higher upside is to come.
I don’t waste my energies trying to “defend” Alberta.
All I do is putting my heads down and buy more properties.
Feeling giddy that they have missed out.
In few years, they will come around.
They always do.
Then the market will rush upwards.
That’s when I’ll sit back and let them bid up the properties.
All while I’m waiting for my move, onto the next wave.
Happy investing 😀
